TERMS & CONDITIONS - COSTUME & ACCESSORIES HIRE
1. RESERVATION, PAYMENT & SECURITY DEPOSIT
- Booking Confirmation: To secure a reservation, the Hirer must pay the Total Invoice Amount in full, comprising the Rental Fee, Refundable Security Deposit, and any applicable Packaging & Delivery charges.
- 24-Hour Rental Policy: All rentals are billed in multiples of 24 hours. Fees are calculated per day and are not specific to the program duration or actual hours used. No pro-rata refunds are issued for early returns.
- Security Deposit: A refundable deposit calculated as twice the Rental Fee or a minimum of ₹200 (whichever is higher) is mandatory. This is refunded via Cash, UPI, or Bank Transfer upon the return of all items in "As-Is" condition.
- Late Returns: Costumes must be returned on the scheduled date within business hours or the pre-agreed timeframe. Overdue returns automatically incur additional charges in 24-hour increments.
- Payment Uniformity: We recommend using a consistent payment method (Cash/UPI/Bank Transfer) for the entire transaction. We reserve the right to switch the refund method for the security deposit should technical challenges arise.
2. HYGIENE, SOILING & DIAPER POLICY
- Biological Soiling: Any item returned with biological stains (including but not limited to urine, vomit, or blood) will incur a mandatory Cleaning Surcharge.
- Infant/Performer Care: For infants, toddlers, and mascot performers, the use of diapers or pull-ups is strictly advised to prevent accidental soiling.
- Professional Maintenance: Do not attempt to wash, hand-wash, or dry-clean costumes without prior consultation. Our fabrics require specialized professional care to prevent damage.
- Sanitary Standards: For health and safety reasons, personal innerwear must be worn under all rental costumes.
3. CONDITION & ALTERATIONS
- Structural Integrity: Permanent alterations including stitching, cutting, ironing, or the use of fabric glue are strictly prohibited.
- Fasteners: Only small safety pins are permitted. The use of staples, tape, industrial glue, or adhesive stickers on the fabric is strictly forbidden.
4. PICKUP, PACKAGING & DELIVERY
- "As-Is" Basis: All costumes are rented in "As-Is" condition. While we ensure high standards of hygiene, minor signs of previous wear are normal. The Hirer must inspect items thoroughly at the time of pickup or delivery.
- Pickups: For in-person pickups, items are deemed in "good condition" once they leave our premises.
- Third-Party Logistics: For deliveries (e.g., Dunzo, Porter), the Hirer bears the actual two-way cost and any delivery delays. If an order arrives damaged or incomplete, the Hirer must notify us via WhatsApp with photographic/video evidence within 30 minutes of receipt. Failure to do so renders the Hirer liable for the damage or loss.
- Packaging: Specialized garment bags or boxes must not be discarded. Missing or damaged original packaging will result in a replacement fee.
5. LOSS, DAMAGE & LIABILITY
- Major Damage: Costs for restoring permanent stains, burns, or fabric tears will be deducted from the security deposit.
- Total Loss: If an item is lost or damaged beyond repair, the Hirer is liable for the Full Replacement Value (current market price for recreation).
- However, we value your health and appreciate prompt feedback regarding any issues.
6. CONSENT & PROMOTIONAL POLICY
- Media Consent: Sharing event photos or videos featuring our costumes (via WhatsApp, Social Media, or Email) constitutes agreement to our Consent Policy, granting us permission to use such media for promotional purposes.
- Feedback Usage: Any reviews or feedback shared on online platforms may be used by us for marketing and promotional activities.
7. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING
- Event Responsibility: The Hirer assumes all responsibility for event scheduling. We recommend active coordination with event organizers especially regarding weather, government mandates, or public health announcements.
Cancellation policy:
- 48+ Hours Notice: Eligible for a full refund of the rental fee.
- 12 to 48 Hours Notice: Non-refundable, but the booking may be rescheduled to a future date.
- Less than 12 Hours Notice: Non-refundable and not eligible for rescheduling.
- Deposit Refunds: The Security Deposit is 100% refundable if the cancellation occurs before collection or delivery. In cases of damage or loss of items, the deposit may be withheld for 2–4 working days pending a full quality assessment.
